Nifty Mom has come up with this great Mother’s Day DIY Kids project. This project is geared towards the smaller givers but you really could do a “garden of hand flowers” if you wanted to include all of the children no matter what age. I’m going to use this for our craft in my pre-k/kinder Sunday School Class.
What You’ll Need:
- washable finger paints
- construction paper
- paper plates
- hand wipes or sink
How To Do It:
- pour small amounts of desired colors on separate paper plates
- “stamp” child’s hand in paint and then on paper
- clean hand and use indue finger to finish flower stem and grass
- use paint marker or finger to write Happy Mother’s Day and name/date
- clean up
