As you know I have been asked to be one of Verizon Wireless‘ Ambassadors. The first product I received was the new Motorola DROID RAZR
. You can read the previous reviews HERE. Last week we were sent another amazing product; the Motorola XYBoard. This is the, in my opinion, RAZR
in Tablet form. I was floored when I opened the box. Sure we were all hoping for something cool like this but didn’t really think that’s what we were getting.
I absolutely LOVE this tablet! It’s so cool that I can access the internet on the go, in the store, riding down the road and I don’t have to squint or drag out the laptop. Everything I need to view is right there on this 8.2″ screen, mobile versions, standard versions and at 4G speed!
Yesterday I was in Walgreens checking out a deal on Huggies that I posted earlier that day. I couldn’t remember which items were excluded so I whipped out the XYBoard and in seconds, literally, I had my answer. Such a time saver.
CONFESSION TIME: All of my friends and family know that I’ve been drooling over the Apple Products since they arrived at Verizon, however, after finding out that they are not 4G I’m not so sure i want them anymore. It is truely amazing to me how much faster 4G is. Family, if you’re reading this, it does not mean I don’t want Apples for my birthday just means I may hold out intil Verizon gets the 4G ones.
Razr Review Update:
Mr T is almost 7 has has recently discovered that mom has access to games on her phone. He’s insisted on my putting Angry Birds
on there. It was free through Amazon
so I did. I’m not sure how good of an idea that was because now I can’t get the Razr away from him! I know with it’s Kevlar and Gorilla Glass it’s supposed to be ok for the kids to play with but it still makes me nervous. I downloaded the games he plays on my other phone and he doesn’t want it. Can you believe that? A 6 year old has preference of which phone he wants? He wants the Razr he says because it’s “cooler”. The screens bigger, sounds better and it doesn’t freeze up!

I can’t wait to share all the little things I learn about this with you. Be sure you follow Frugal Reality on Twitter for the latest details about the Motorola XYBoard, Motorola DROID RAZR

So it’s been over 4 weeks since the new Motorola RAZR made it’s way into my life. If you missed the initial post on this review you can view them here.
I am loving this phone a lot more than I anticipated. It’s crazy fast with it’s 4G LTE little self. The graphics are nice and the sound is way better than the other phone I have. My kids have been playing games on it and it has not once frozen up once on them which is more than I can say for my other phone.
It has been dropped, toggled around in my purse and handled by 2 kids under 7. There is not one scratch, scuff or sign of use aside from finger prints.
I’ve taken it on a few road trips and maintained my 4G service when in major metropolitan. (i.e. Houston, Dallas) When 4G was lost it only dropped to 3G. The other phone I have constantly drops to 1X whatever that is.
I will remain with this one complaint. The battery life doesn’t last me near long enough and that’s with using 2 phones. If you use the phone solely for phone calls and texting the battery is fine but ones you start surfing, playing games and checking email frequently, you better start hunting for your charger.
I have a rapid charger
that seems to do pretty decent vs. the standard ones. I did find this other fault. All of the Verizon Android phones I’ve had thus far have always been able to charge on my husbands Sprint car chargers. The RAZR refuses to charge on it. It fits, just doesn’t charge one little bit.
Stay tuned for more updates about the Motorola RAZR for Verizon.
Do you have the RAZR? I’d love to hear your thoughts as well.

For those that follow on Google+ you’ll have scene my latest album of pictures involving International Delight’s new Iced Coffee. This is a great new was to enjoy your coffee. Just simply pour a glass and it’s already ready to go.
We were asked to try this new product. Miss Thing and I loaded up and headed to Walmart on our mission. You know her, she just loves to shop! This time she was a bit disappointed because it wasn’t something she could try. Of course I mixed up some chocolate milk and it looked the same so it sufficed.
This new drink was located in the milk section of the store. There are 3 great flavors to choose from: Original, Mocha and French Vanilla. You will find that currently there is one size available. While there, we picked up a few of the regular International Delight Coffee Creamers just in case some one still preferred their regular cup of joe.
I make my first mistake with this product when I didn’t read the warning label on the top of the carton. be sure you shake well, especially the coffees with added flavor.
I held a taste testing event for a small group of friends to get some additional feedback. As you can see not everyone wanted to be photographed. Nonetheless we were still able to complete our mission. There seemed to be some discrepancy on if you still drink the iced coffee in a mug b/c it’s coffee or if you had to use a regular glass. Either way doesn’t affect the flavor, just preference. We decided to be silly and drink from our mugs.
I baked up some yummy Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip Cookies to snack on while we sipped our coffee.
Everyone seemed to like the coffees well. Something I thought about doing after the fact was mixing these with a little ice and vanilla ice cream in the blender. I bet that would be SO YUMMY!
I still prefer my hot coffee for in the morning but this would be a great option for an afternoon indulgence!
